Jackson Parish Hospital

Jackson Parish Hospital is a rural Healthcare provider located in north Louisiana. This Hospital was built in phases starting first in 1963 and ending in 1970. The HVAC system also originated in 1963 with additions as increased square footage required.
The system consisted of two 1963 York water cooled chillers and one cleaverbrooks steam fire tube boiler.
Mr. Robby Roberts and the facility management team for the hospital decided it was time to bring this facility into the 21st century and install new chillers, boilers, pumps and cooling towers and a new energy management system.
After a 6 month design and public bidding process we began the construction process. The total cost of the mechanical renovation was approximately 1.3 million dollars.
The facility now enjoys state of the art, dependable central plant equipment and much lower energy bills.
This Mechanical renovation has saved this 63,000 Ft sq facility $400,000 per year in energy costs.

Our Lady of the Lake is in the stages of completing our new 60 megawatt emergency power plant.
This system consists of six - 2 megawatt Cummins natural gas generators.
This system will provide power to the entire hospital
Mr. John English and the operations staff decided that they would remove the 1950 vintage
600 horsepower boiler and replace it with two 300 horsepower Miura steam high pressure boilers.
